Anyone ever been to Great Wolf Lodge for a winter holiday??? Just wondering if it is very crowded – hoping that since they only allow admission to their resort guests that it wouldn’t be any worse than non-holidays but wondering if anyone could attest to this.

We just got back from there and it wasn't bad, but I hear in the winter it gets slightly more crowded.

Yeah, my son goes with his dad and his step mother ( :barf:) every now and again. He says they stay pretty packed! But it's worth it!

We've taken the kids in the winter months and its pretty packed in there. Good times though if you dont mind a few hundred folks in varying degrees of dress walking around. :whistle:

Kalahari - it's a chain type place too - there are 2 more of those in Ohio I think I saw and they are open to the public not just the resort guests.


There's another indoor water park opening in WV - Volcano Island sometime next fall - even though this one will be further away it looks amazing.

we're going next weekend! I usually go in the winter but I find that if you go on a sunday night or during the week in general its a lot less crowded than weekends. if you are planning to go the week that all kids are out of school for winter break, probably will be crowded every day but I have never seen it uncomfortably crowded.
