I use Sony Vegas for all my movie editting. It allows you to do just about anything you could possibly dream of.

Sony Creative Software - Vegas Pro, Vegas Movie Studio, and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/vegasfamily.asp)
Sony Vegas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Vegas)

Yup yup, and just a heads up...there haven't been any revolutionary changes in the software since Version 6.0, so if you can find that copy for cheap, your getting pretty much the same thing as the $150 v8 or whatever its up to now.
