I am trying to find a local (St. Mary's Co.) crafter who can hand paint a sign. Just a small sign to be hung at home during the Christmas Holidays.
I have been to a couple of local craft shows recently, but they were only able to do signs that "fit the mold". Does anyone know of anyone I could contact.
Thanks in advance.

Just a thought, why don't you do it yourself. Micheal's sells paint pens so all you have to do is write and your sign is done. I've used them before and if you have decent hand writing, it will turn out great.

You need a sign painter/ custom lettering artist. Check the yellow pages. Very few sign painters still do hand lettering.

Hi- Thanks. I thought about it and was hoping to have something that looked a little more "professional". But will certainly go that route as a last resort.

The arts&craft show on base usually have them. Last year I think it was some type of snowman. They are always very nice.

My boyfriend's mom does it for a living. She did the artwork in Linda's Cafe, the sign for the Naughty Gull on Solomon's, and some other stuff. Her portraits are incredible, too. PM me if you want some samples and/or her contact info.
