Is pretty damn awesome. I'd been scared to try anything lite or fat free because I got low fat cream cheese months ago and threw the entire package away because it was disgusting. I figured ranch dressing had a pretty strong taste and may be ok lite. I was correct. What else low fat is good? Anyone use low fat mayo? I've recently switched to the olive oil mayo and really like that.

They beef up the loss of oil with sugar, salt and garlic and i do not like them at all.

I bought some of that and I thought it tasted awful. The McKay's brand of lite was not bad though.

I hate Mayo unless it's in tuna or egg salad. I prefer low fat or fat free sour cream.

Lite or Fat-Free sour cream is just plain nasty.

A good alternative (calorie-wise) is to use Greek Yogurt instead of sour cream. Greek yogurt is MUCH thicker and richer than ordinary yogurt, and the unflavored version is an excellent stand-in for sour cream....on a potato, in dips, and in desserts, and in homemade salad dressings. For a quick treat, mix in some sugar-free preserves into some Greek yogurt; it's delicious!

Wal-Mart carries Oikos, I know, and Woodburn's and a few other places carries Fage (pronounced Fey-yah).

Good choice but you gotta buy me an old farm house near some water.

My aunt in Clarksburg has a basement we could probably sleep in. :yahoo:

I love Caesar salad and had been looking for a low-fat dressing because Caesar dressing is pretty bad. I tried the Wishbone Just2Good Caesar dressing and I was surprised at how good it was. It only has 2g of fat, too, so I don't feel bad still having my Caesar salad. As for mayo, I get either the Kraft Light or the new olive oil one. I like either, but primarily use it just in tuna or egg salad... something like that.

I am so curious... I grew up in Cecil County and it is such a small area. I just wonder if you're talking about someone I know!

I can do a lot of things lite or low-fat, but I can't seem to go reduced fat with Hellman's mayo.
