Does it have to be a car? Hubby has a Silverado he's trying to unload. Only has 60K miles.

Well, could be a car or truck but it needs to be something thats fuel efficient since I would have to drive it to DC everyday. Guess I should have mentioned that, sorry. :nomoney:

My '05 Focus gets 30-35 MPG commuting to Silver Spring depending on how I drive. With the cruise set at 55-60 I get 35. At 80 I get 30. The clutch is very forgiving, I do NOT regret buying a manual transmission. Much preferred to have the accelleration of the manual over the "ease" of set it in drive and forget it automatic transmission. FYI, My car now has 103K miles on it.

What hours do you work? We should carpool :high5: Anyway, any late model Honda or Acura is going to be pretty cheap and reliable.

Try Commuter Connections. They can probably find you a van pool or car pool mate.
