Had dinner a week ago at Lenny's and I ordered the rockfish special. Tasted very fresh and I was impressed with the friendly service and the relaxing atmosphere....

If you haven't been to Lenny's before, go.... Highly recommend it!

So, are you related to the owners? Banging one of them? Work there? Or are you just plain annoying? Or all of the above?

Because this post made me curious, Hubby and I tried to go to Lenny's last nite and there was absolutely nowhere to park! Either it really is good or they were having a party there or something.

Does adding an "o" to the word to and correcting a grammatical error make you feel important?

Yes you should lay off the banana pudding. You should also remember that ordering a large diet coke with your meal still doesn't make it healthy.

You're taking all the fun out of picking on you. Could you atleast be a little upset that I implied that you were fat and lived in a trailer? It would really make my day if you could just sort of play along.....

Was that home made banana pudding?

They atleast have a sense of humor so I KNOW it's not one of the owners.

"Because this post made me curious, Hubby and I tried to go to Lenny's last nite and there was absolutely nowhere to park! Either it really is good or they were having a party there or something."

Ok... this is only my 2nd post. I'll admit I usually only surf the forums while at work for something to do so. I'd been reading the comments about Lenny's that started I think last week on the other post "lenny not good" because I was going to be attending a holiday party there which happened to be last night. So yes, there was a party there. I have lived between Calvert and St. Mary's my entire life, have ZERO affiliation with Lennys and know absolutely noone that works there. Last night was my very first time going in. The place seemed clean and very festive, decorated for Christmas obviously. I can't speak on how it looked before but it was very nice in my opinion. The reason I am even bothering to jump on here now and comment is because during the party, which was for the center for children, the lady in charge addressed the crowd to give thanks to the various people that helped organize the evening. To give you an idea on how many were there, they were doing pics with Santa for the kids and when I left they were calling numbers 70 - 80. That alone tells you how many kids and teenagers that were in attendance. That does not count the parent(s) that were with the kids. The place was packed. My point is that it was announced that the owner of Lennys DONATED all the food and his staff and I would imagine the use of the back room free of charge. Food was set up buffet style and you were served as you went thru the line. It was meatballs, mac n cheese, fried chicken and pizza. There was also a dessert table provided by him as well. So nothing fancy for the meal but it was good. Nothing to complain about. I for one plan on going there to eat the next time I am out and can't decide where to go. Just for the fact alone that he did this for the community for such a worthy organization. For those that are bad mouthing him, he can't be that bad. I saw him and he did go around the room making sure everyone was having a good time and he kept up on his staff and the food to be certain it was 'in order'. Now I very well may be back on here in a month or so saying the food sucked. But based on my first impression on my very first visit, I give 2 thumbs up!

I have a personal rule. "NEVER PICK ON NEWBIES."

I stick to that pretty well.

Sorry. Maybe I was too wordy. Was just trying to say that I had never been to Lenny's before. I started to read to see what people had to say about the place because I knew that I was going to be attending a holiday party there. Someone else said they tried to go with their hubby the other night but the place was packed and they thought it must have been a party. I was confirming that yes there had been a party there that night. That's all.

I grew up in the area but have been gone a long time and just recently back.

In the day Lenny's was always pretty good. But after the remodel and reopening it is GREAT!

Great food and service.

I had dinner there tonight for the first time in over a decade. It was quite good. :yay:

The only downfalls were; it was cold in there and the live country music CD that was playing, too loud.
