Just heard from someone that Moms in the Kitchen in Prince Frederick is closing. Has anyone else heard this or can confirm

Haven't heard that, but the catering they did for our office right before Thanksgiving wasn't as good as it was in years past.

i thought she owned robert's deli also - i wonder who is going to do the catering for the calvert marine museum? Mom's in the kitchen was great the last time i was there about 10 months ago

Way too much competition in PF now with all the restaurants there. Jaspers right across the street, Green Turtle right next door, Outback only 2 minutes away. Haven't eaten there in a while, food was always good,tho.

I liked Mom's in the Kitchen but they are to expensive for what you get.

Mom's in the Kitchen was housed in Robert's Deli for a few years. Two different businesses. They had kind of a joint venture for a while.

Noooooo! First I hear Beach Cove is closing now Moms. Dangit! :bawl:
We order dinner from moms several times a week from work.
What a shame to lose such a great place.
It is hard to find a restaurant that does an accurate job on take out orders that all my coworkers can agree on.

The wife and I went there for lunch today. The windows were all taped up and there was a sign in the window that said "We are closed, Thank you for your patronage these past years" No more Mom's. For sure.:shocking:
