If I was going to board a cockatiel I'd use finishing nails, or really small staples..

I have two. If you can't find anyone, I'd consider looking after the bird for you.

I know the pet store in Owings, Chaneyviille Rd. boards birds. Rita's up on 231 would most likely do it as well.
