SUCCESS!!! :yahoo:

OMG, the wings were so good! And I thank all of you who gave your suggestions so that I may achieve this milestone in my life! :love:

I soaked the wings in buttermilk overnight. Then drained them and patted them dry. Seasoned them with smoked salt, then shook them in a bag filled with flour seasoned with Old Bay and peri peri spice mix. Fried them in peanut oil with the lid on: 10 minutes, turn, 10 minutes. Cooked for another minute or two with the lid off. Drained on a wire rack.

YUM!!!! :cartwheel

The peanut oil really gave it a great flavor, so :clap: to whoever suggested that.

And now that that has been accomplished (yay me! :yahoo:), I can focus on my other resolution, which is to lose some weight. :ohwell:
