Brown up some hot & spicy sausage (drain the grease), add a can of Rotel and a log of cream cheese (mix until melted)..........
scoop it up and with "Scoops" tortilla chips and enjoy :buddies:

Hot pepper jelly and cream cheese make a delicious spread.

Mix 4 oz of cream cheese with a can of chili....cook until melted together. Eat with tortillas.

There's a good alfredo recipe that calls for cream cheese, but I don't have it here at work.

Cheesecake is always yummy.

Cream cheese and pretzels is a great after school snack.

Buy lots and lots of bagels.

Actually, I now that you mention it I do remember a thread where you were talking about eating cream cheese with just about everything :lol:

1 block of soft cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo
pulse in food processor til almost smooth.

w/ those first three ingredients you can make 100's of different types of dips and spreads.

ex:

chop up 8 slices of bacon and cook until crisp, remove from pan and sautee 1 1/2 cups baby bella mushrooms w/ 2 chopped shallots (salt and pepper to taste) add to mixture above and serve w/ crudite or french baguette.

or

ad 6 oz smoked salmon, juice of a lemon, 2 T fresh chopped dill, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 red onion finely minced. serve w/ bagel crisps, french baguette, or crudite

etc etc etc

Check the pillsbury site! They have many recipes (though not good for you) that use bricks of the stuff!

I'm looking for a main dish recipe. I found this one:

INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon butter
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Dijon mustard

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute mushrooms until tender. Reduce heat to low, and stir in cream cheese until melted. Remove from heat.
Pound chicken breasts thin with a meat mallet. Spread with mushroom mixture, and roll up. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and Dijon mustard. Press mustard mixture onto chicken. Roll chicken in chopped nuts. Place in a baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink, and juices run clear.

I think I'll add some garlic and spinach though, we'll see...

If you like powerful flavors this is AWESOME dip. I make it with fresh herbs from my garden all the time. Very onion-y and flavorful.

Herb Dip

* 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 4 green onions, white and green parts, chopped
* 2 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley leaves, rough chopped
* 1 tablespoon fresh dill, rough chopped
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Place the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, scallions, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper in a food processor and blend well but don't pulverize. Gets even better overnight.

I made it...:drool:

I don't think I would have liked it if I didn't add the garlic and spinach to the filling; I think I'll add more mushrooms and garlic next time though. I omitted the nuts and used a bread crumbs and parmesan cheese mix over the mustard/brown sugar mixture...which was a little sweet, might also cut the brown sugar next time. All in all it was yum-my!
