So I want an honest opinion from everyone. I'm basically new to the board. I've posted a few times today and someone keeps "jumping down my throat" about my photography.

Is it wrong to have my website as my signature????? I've seen others who have it as well. Others say "view my photos" or this and that. Is it wrong for me to put that??? Because if it is then I'll take it off. No biggie. BUT that is who I am and what I've created.

I dont see anywhere on here that I can't do that. So what's the problem?

I posted to help a few brides who had questions about vendors and such and since I've been to about 50 weddings I thought my opinion would count. :)

IMHO there's nothing wrong with your siggy - it's no worse than anyone else's that is similar. You aren't saying "buy your pictures from me" and aren't blatantly advertising your business - which is a :nono: with the board moderators. If it does concern you, send a pm to the board moderators and ask for their final word on the matter.

Otherwise, I'd ignore the busybody who is acting jealous.

While you haven't come right out and said "Here I am. I do this. Look at my site.", placing a link in your sig could be interpreted as advertising.

Busybody was annoyed when she bumped 3 wedding threads. Busybody is certainly not jealous of a photographer with a short fuse. However, Miggy thinks I am jealous of everyone. :shrug:
