I saw during the Super Bowl that the movie is coming out. Did anyone read the book? I read it and thought it was great. Same guy that wrote The Da Vinci Code. After reading The Da Vinci Code, the movie to me wasn't that great. I sure hope they do better with Angels & Demons.

I read Da Vinci Code and loved it. I liked (not loved) the movie the first time I saw it. The second time it was just kinda' "meh". I don't like Tom Hanks in that role. It doesn't suit him, and does nothing for the character.

I thought the book Angels & Demons was better than DaVinci, if you haven't read it you should and of course Tom Hanks will be playing in the movie also. There was another book I read by the same author, the name escapes me right now, but it didn't have anything to do with these two, but was a very good book. If I think of the name, I'll post it, you may want to read that one also.

Shouldn't really change anything, except it'll let them build on the story a little more. Heck, most people read them in the order the movies are coming out, anyway.

His other books are Digital Fortress and Deception Point. I plan on reading Digital Fortress soon.

Thanks! Deception Point was the one I was trying to remember the name of. What an awesome book. Didn't read Digital Fortress, I guess I'll be stopping at the book store on the way home from work tomorrow.

The preview looked great. I cant wait for this one!
