I have no idea, we wait until the last minute when we get the itch and then just go and find somewhere to stay. But I am noticing now that my oldest is in school this is gonna get harder. It was easy when we could pack up in the winter in the middle of the week and go somewhere, now we will be traveling with the rest of the families around school which will make everything packed.

We go to Corolla, and I refuse to go to a place without a pool anymore, lols. I wish I could talk some of my less poor friends into going so we could get oceanfront.

Ocean front with a pool is the ultimate goal. Every year we talk about how great it would be if we had a pool. I'm very excited. The beach is great, but sometimes you don't want to have to deal with all the beach crap. Especially at night when you just want to take a dip and cool off. I have a feeling last year will be the last without one. Corolla is beautiful!

Yep, a while back; it was starting to fill up. Same place we were at last year. It is all the way back from the beach in the neighborhood by the water tower. Makes for a nice dog walk three times a day :yay: Last year the police raided a house full of underage drinkers and made their parents come get them, lols.

I don't know where we will go for our summer vacation, we have a 5th wheel ( RV )...we usually wait till the last minute...BUT, I did book an awesome log cabin home with fireplaces, hot tub, etc...for next winter, over the week of New Years Eve at Deep Creek Lake for the family...We have never had a winter vacation and now that 4 of our children are grown it has been awhile since we have had a family vacation. We are really looking forward to it, we will have our family Christmas there and celebrate New Years Eve together...skiing, snow tubing, etc.....I am making monthly payments, it's not cheap....but it will be worth every penny to be together with the family for a winter vacation over the Holidays...

No they came while I was sleeping so I missed the whole thing. But I did see the teen girls stupidly walking around the neighborhood with booze in their hands so I figured it was a matter of time. The house next store filled me in on it and we lol-ed together.

Is it that time again? We are going to Charleston this fall. Not sure where we're headed this summer. Might try to go back to the Virgin Islands for a week but we'll see. Will post a link when we decide.

We are going to Disney during Easter Break. Got a great deal on this 6 bedroom house with pool in Kissimee. I always rent villas (cheaper than a hotel - $1300 for 7 nights).
