Hi there! I was wondering if there are any fun singles groups in St. Mary's/SOMD? My friend was telling me about one she used to be in that had events/activities almost every weekend. I thought it would be great way to meet new people :)

I heard about one with an interview process :bigwhoop: which I guess makes sense...maybe...but I was interested in one that was more lowkey.

Try checking some of the local churches out......see what they might offer.

Also, if you are a single parent........PWP..(parents without partners), is also a good orginization.

We used to have something like that here in the forums about 8-9 years ago, when there weren't quite so many people.

I suppose you could do it again - start a private forum, invite a few people and see if they want to do stuff on weekends and invite their friends in.

I believe all the hot young professionals meet at Tides. I'm not allowed to go so I'm not sure.
