It is very cool indeed. We booked a cruise out of baltimore in november. In past times we would have to fly to florida but now we can just drive. Saved us quite a bit of money.
Yea, it is good news but I wish they'd stop somewhere besides Nassau.

We took a cruise out of the Port of Baltimore - a lot of fun and saved some cash not having to travel far to catch the boat. I haven't really seen any itineraries that catch my eye now though.

I've been researching cruises for almost a year now. I looked and looked over again the cruises out of Baltimore (and Norfolk) through Carnival and have yet to find any of them cheaper. November is prime season (holiday), so it'll be pricier than going off season.
I have one booked for early next year and I'm getting ready to book another for this September. All of them are leaving out of southern/gulf ports because it was at least double to cruise out of Baltimore.

I don't like the Baltimore prices. Show me a cheap one and you know I'll book it.

Ours is $500 a piece for me and hubby for 7 days. Nassau and Freeport are our stops. We checked others and they would be at least that plus airfare. Seems like a good deal to me.

Hepefully they'll bring them up to B'more for long. We're booked on Oasis of the Seas in Mar '10. We have to get to Fl but it's worth it.
