Looks like it closed up. Never had a decent meal in there anyway, but I did enjoy going to the bar there.
Wonder if someone else will take it and do something with the building now.

Yes, it's becoming...an IRISH pub. Really.
I'm very excited. They've knocked down walls, are going to expand the bar, already have their menu designed, etc. They plan on having music and more. I'm really truly overly excited about this. I forgot the name they will be opening with, but the owner truly is Irish.
I believe they are looking at being open in 6 to 8 weeks.

Who bought the place? An Irish Pub might be nice. I know the pub in Leonardtown does a good business and is always crowded.

Well I'm not posting the gentleman's name on a public forum, but he's Irish, and plans on running the place like a genuine pub, complete with a measurement system for drafts and shots. I'm really excited about the whole thing.
Like I said, I can't remember the name of the pub, but I am sure we'll hear more about it later from folks with more connections than I.
I really am looking forward to it. It'll be out of my way, but worth it.

It's not like Italian is that complex. I can't recall a place thet could screw up noodles before I tried Petruzzi's.

I would have gladly settled for frozen ravioli over what they served me once and I am typically not a complainer.

I've been to one other local place that had really really really really bad noodles, not just screwed up. I'll still eat there, but just won't order pasta again.

I told them to hold the pepper in a dish I ordered. Sent it out COVERED in pepper. I sent it back, I could not even attempt to eat it.

If Chef Boy R Dee can make a damn noodle and put it in a can for 9 months before someone eats it, you would think an "Italian restaurant" could make an edible noodle. :lmao:

If you go w/ family or group they have special menu and pricing that they bring out unlimited amounts of the dishes you choose. You get the choice of 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 2 pizzas, 2 types of pastas, 2 main dishes and 2 desserts.
My children were so impressed by them I really got a kick out of taking them there. All the waiters are in tuxedos/suits nice italian music in the background. It is EXCELLENT :yay:

I was at Howard AFB in Panama and used to have to borrow the Air Force Master Sgt's jeep thing all the time and he gave me a ton of grief. One day I needed it and didn't feel like putting up with a blast of crap and whining so I just took it knowing he would never know.
After I got done I put it back in the same parking spot I noticed a bag in the passenger seat. I looked and it was his lunch. I took a bite out of his sandwich and put it back in the baggie and back in the bag then left. I went and got a good spot in the hangar at lunch time where I could see into his office window and watched.
The look on his face when he pulled that sandwich out of the bag was priceless. :killingme

I used to live near Tysons and loved going to Maggiano's. They have a great family meal thing... but agree that it gets a little pricey!
I heard about the Irish pub in Wildewood and agree that it will be a blast! When we stopped by Petruzzi's last Thursday night for 1/2 price pizza... surprise they were closed.. but we talked to a girl in there who gave us a run down of what they had planned. Sounds fun... can't wait!

YES! Four Star Pizza in Leonardtown wasn't anyone's favorite near the end. But the same owners are becoming wildly successful in the Pub business. The same will happen in Wildewood. They will have good bar food and focus more on the "entertainment" aspect. If you want a good dinner, go to Lenny's first.
