Now I gotta clean my face shield.
I got hit in the face yesterday, expected the whole side of my face to be bruised..
Then, shortly thereafter.. felt a mistt.. thought... HMMM, guess it's going to start raining.. then I looked at my windscreen and saw the remnants of a BIG juicy bug.. yep.. I got a gooey bug facial..

yewwww...
I'm keeping a face shield FOREVER!
And next time I'm riding at night I'm puttin' rubber bands around my jacket wrists...didn't like all those still living and crawling bugs up my arms, either.
And a scarf - bugs are like needles when they're hittin' my neck!

You can always tell a happy biker by the number of bugs in his teeth!

Hubby is looking at windscreens for my bike, hope to install one soon.
We just put a '77 sportster on the road, my brother gave it to my 17-yr-old son in milk crates a year ago and he got it running. Needed some help with the electrical, but he did all the mechanical work.

Much as he likes to take pics, I couldn't find one of the frame and 4 milk crates. This is almost complete, the seat is in the shop this week getting reupholstered. Will post a pretty pic once it's back together.
He tried to tell me it would be a good fit for me, but my feet don't touch the ground, and I'm just not comfy on my tippy toes. He's talking about lowering it for me...we'll see.
