The new bike really is beautiful. We spent some time on Friday riding a demo, and I fell in love with it, too, and I'm really not one for being a passenger on the back of a bike.

Anyway, out of this deal, I think I'm gonna score me a new helmut so I can go on more bike rides. :yahoo:

Why didn't you go for the FLHTCU? What's the U stand for?

BG was getting worried about me, looking at bikes with a lot of horsepower, so to make her happy, I got a bike with a comfortable backseat and as little horsepower as humanly possible.

Now we can both be happy, and I get to keep a motorcylce in my garage.. Albeit an underpowered, slow.. boring one, at least I'll still have one.

We got an 8X12, wood floor, side ramp and back ramp. .. SUPPOSED to be for the tractor..

Get it home and with the Ballast Box or the blade on the back it's TOO short...

5X8 was too narrow, 8X12 is too short..

The backhoe would have to extend off of the front or back of the trailer, or leave the bucket up over the back ramp.. but THINK you could make it work..

I got the tractor on their with the bucket and the rear blade, had to lift the blade up and set it on the rail of the trailer. Blade extended over the front of the trailer about 12 - 18 inches maybe.

Blade boxes.. DUR!!

But it's not a box blade, jut a pull behind blade.. sits about 3 feet behind the tractor or seo.

Actually BIL wanted one, so he asked to go halves on one so he could use it to level his yard, and his gravel driveway.

Once I buy the topsoil will use it to fill in the holes and gulleys in the yard.

And <$300 at Tractor Supply store.. or you could just borrow ours..

Did you lose your 3 point hitch?

Takes about 3 minutes to mount/dismount. You take your 3 point arms off to mount it and have to put them back on after you take it off.

There are plates you have to add to the rear housing to accomodate the hoe. Those stay and do not interfere with the 3 point hitch when you take the hoe off.

Kind of does the same thing. One is for grading one is for grading and moving a bunch of dirt.

I graded the front of my place where I am putting in a cobblestone walkway and a retaining wall 8 X 70 feet with the front bucket. It works good for grading areas.

I'm thinking so. Don't think I've done anything to cause weare to the blade.. or take it off kilter.

Next time you have it out level the bucket and drop it down so it is 1 inch off the driveway and see if both sides are the same distance off the deck.

I got carried away taking out a sapling that was growing out of a larger stump and sprung mine about a half inch. When it is down on the ground flush it levels out though.
