Pssst.... No-no, you and your fellow lemmings don't get it. A person without empathy would be a sociopath. A judge can have empathy, but it should never, ever affect their rulings.

Any judge who would allow empathy to affect their decision should not be a judge. They should not consider race, income, heritage, class, gender, or any other characteristic. They must only consider the facts of the case and the law.
