I am being forced to decide between getting a puppy, or getting a bike.

Someone is quite upset.

Why forced Nanny?

I'd go with puppy first. Once I got my puppy, my riding time went down considerably because there wasn't enough time to take care of a pup and go riding.

Take your time and think it over. Dogs love you and will bring you a lot of love, but when they die it's really sad. Bikes just sit there, but when you ride them you feel so free it's incredible.

Gotcha. My GF has a dog and it's the biggest pain in the butt, he's older and his ability to hold his bladder is deminishing and he has to go ALL THE TIME. Major pain.....

I hope to realize that feeling someday. :ohwell:

When my dad and his second wife split he had to choose between the dog or the boat. He loved them both dearly but in the end he chose the boat. When I asked him how he came to that decision he replied " It would be my luck that when she came to pick up the boat that the dog would get run over while they were backing the boat out of the yard.":ohwell:

Take some time and think it over and you'll make the best decision for you.:buddies:

Aww, sorry Nanny! :huggy: My advice would be to get the pup now, and start saving for the bike. You probably wouldn't have much time to ride till you got the pup nice and trained anyway! Oh, and you can always ride with a friend or borrow a bike! You can't always borrow a doodle...

If the bike is a pain in the ass, buy an aftermarket seat
