OK, ya'll are gonna be my eyes and ears throughout the county (and any of you who have had teenagers know how important that is!).

Boy put a bike on the road last week. When he bought this thing, I told him that neither dad nor I were putting any money into it, and that included tags, title, and insurance. (We had already put a '77 Sportster on the road for his use, but guess it just isn't cool enough for him.)

He saved up the money and got all that last week. Now, he doesn't have a license yet, but got the permit first try and has been riding with dad and I. Looks pretty conscientious to me so far. He's hoping to get to Loveville and take the driving test in the next couple weeks, depending on getting half a day off work.

If you see this Bumblebee acting up on the roads, PLEASE TATTLE ON HIM!

TIA :buddies:

Yeah, it's amazing to see him grinning as he's spending HIS money!

The helmet in the pic is a loaner. Ordered a helmet and gloves last night to the tune of $450, and he was giddy with the fact that it was HIS money and he didn't have to borrow from dad!

Don't let him forget to wear full finger gloves! They have saved my hands from a bad rash!

Is it a 600 or a 1000? (I don't know my CBRs)

Nevermind...CBR-929RR. Sorry, but bad choice for a first bike IMO :boo:

Not my choice, he brought home after an exchange of money, hence my stipulation that all the money involved be HIS.

18 yr old, told him I won't be changing his diaper if he wrecks it - he thought I was being gross!

He saw the accident on 235 Sat night, scared him, I hope.
