Hi, Everyone. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with any neurologists in St.Mary's co. especially around the Leonardtown area. I need one and don't know who to go to. Your replies would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ive found that most neurologists declare specialties/sub-specialties and aren't generalists. Since only you would know what your particular issues are, I'd suggest checking the good, old Yellow Pages to narrow things down for yourself...

[Ex.] I see a neuro. doc in Charlotte Hall who specializes mainly in Gait and Balance (who knew???) problems (and he's busy as Hell).

Anyway, "Best of Luck!" "D-35"

Which one? I go there to, I see Vinod Abraham, he's great and always accomodating and I never have to wait at all for appointments.

are we talking an equine neurologist or human?? If Equine, my friend used to get her EPM horse checked out by a specialist at Marion Dupont. I'm sorry I cant remember the name of the DR.

This isn't the Horsie Forum. I would guess human.

Thanks for all the replies, I already had Vinod Abraham in mind but wasn't sure until I found if anyone else had been to him.

I didn't realize they claimed specialties while still being referred to as neurologists. Anyone know of an epileptologist in SoMD? I've searched for them before with no luck. They all seem to be pretty far north.

I go to him. I'm not entirely thrilled with the fact that he only prescribes my meds 3 months at a time, which is a big pain in the butt, but he does seem to know his stuff, so I do like him. I see him for migraines. I when to Dr. Asha George before that (when I first had to switch due to insurance) and I would say to stay as far from her as possible. I was seeing the nurse practitioner in Dr. Kerasidis' office for several years (before I got insurance they didn't take) and really liked her, although I cannot recall her name right now. Karen something.
