We drove over to Corolla/Carova, NC yesterday in hopes of spotting some wild horses. We lucked out and saw 4 gorgeous horses right on the dunes on the beach. I wish these photos were a bit more sharp, but I very rarely shoot telephoto so my lens isn't anything special. Still like them though. :smile:

Aww!!! I was hoping to see some playing in the water, but I think there were too many people out.

This was part of a group of about a dozen. There were a few people around and some of the were getting pretty close. The adult ponies would then form a circle around the babies.

The horses are in an area that's only accessible by 4WD, and it's on the northernmost part of the Outer Banks, whereas most people vacation farther south.
My camera's a Digital Rebel XTi.
