My son took the easy way and said I needed a new battery when my little bike kept LEAVING ME STRANDED.

Didn't fix the problem.

So, he delved a bit deeper and decided I needed a voltage regulator (or some such thing).

Then, he left for a long weekend road trip without helping me order the part!

Credit where credit is due, he replaced the part the day the new one arrived in the mail.

And now it starts/runs GREAT!!!

Trial run to work today. If I come out at the end of the day to a dead bike, I'm likely to stomp my feet.

So, shall we get together next weekend for a little ride? I'd like to go across the Solomons bridge, haven't done that yet. Early Sunday morning anyone?

A short ride is all I'm up for, hubby still needs lots of care.

Get a sitter, bring BG!

Little bike started right up after work!!! YEAH! Thanks for the fix, B!

Sunday - 9AM? - where to meet?

Solomons bridge is just an option, riding 'round the seventh is good, too.

Isn't there a Rita's Italian Ice over in Solomons?
That would be a good destination

Rita's would be a good destination...what time does it open? :googlingnow:

Noon...we could leave later in the morning? Get the honey-dos done first...

I've got a retirement party to go to at 2PM.

How 'bout K-Mart parking lot at 10:00? Over the bridge, anyone know the roads around lower Calvert? I'm not familiar with that area at all.

Or we could scoot around Leonardtown/7th Dist or Hollywood, then head across the bridge.

Hit Rita's at noon, back across the bridge and home.

I don't care where we go, and the bridge is not a "must do", just an idea. 2 hours or so, then I need to be back home. We could meet earlier if not looking for a stop at Rita's.

Taking my Mom to brunch at the Captains Table in Solomons at 11:30, if you have time cruise through and give a honk and a wave to an 85 year old Great Grandmother of 7 kids.

:huggy: Enjoy your brunch with Mom!

Don't see any other hands raised for wanting to go, so I'm gonna stay home too! Got some housework I was REALLY hoping to avoid, guess that's what I'll do instead!

I just got back from Annapolis. A little more traffic than I would like to deal with, and downtown was just nutz. Fortunately, they have a free 2-hour motorcycle parking area up again right on the dockside. Makes it easy to find a spot to park.
