Would like one with at least a queen and the bunk house. If anyone knows someone who is selling, point them in my direction.

Thanks

Have you been to Economy RV in Mechanicsville...???
They usually have great deals on New and/or used Rv's...
We purchased our travel trailer from them about 7/8 yrs ago, and then we traded it in on a 5th wheel a couple of years ago...they have great service there as well....

Yes, we went there. Thanks. We are not looking to buy new. We didn't look at any of their used trailers. I rather buy from an individual than a dealer.

Our truck will pull anything. Mainly we want something with bunks for the kidlets and a nice bedroom for us.

Thanks.

We looked at two over the weekend. One was in okay shape but the back bumper needs to be rewelded and it is not exactly layed out the way we want it. We are still considering it though. They want you to purchase the package - - both truck and trailer. We do not need another truck. The package is a good deal but just the trailer alone is a little more than I would like to pay for that particular unit. If it were layed out the way we want, well that would be another story.

The other we looked at on the side of 235 was too expensive for what it looks like. It looked pretty worn out on the outside (stickers peeling off and such) but we couldn't see inside from the road.

Thanks vbailey. I just took a look at their website. For some reason, when we went there, I didn't realize they sold used trailers. They have VERY nice new trailers. If we camped more, we would consider new. Perhaps when we upgrade. I think I will go back and look at their used trailers. Saw some online and they seem to have good prices.

They have great service there, even with their used trailers..we bought our first travel trailer from them used...if we ever need anything or have a problem they are right on it for us.......I highly recommend economy rv..Scott & Robin are great guys...

That is very nice...Huge....our 5th wheel is a 30ft with 2 slide outs.
We did not want to have something that big now that it is just 3 of us camping..if my son takes a friend they like to tent camp next to the camper...
We love ours, it is just the right size for us...although I do enjoy looking at the larger 5th wheels, they are very nice...
We have a WildCat, they are also very nice!!

Ummm why would I spend 40K when the link you posted shows the same one for 33k? :l

I don't even want to click the link to what you really want (but I will). I picked out a 39 foot fifth wheel that I want... someday.

More space is always nice but we love state parks and we push the limits sometimes as it is at just 32 feet I can't imagine not being able to visit the places I love b/c I wouldn't fit.

We stopped at Cunningham Falls on the way home from Hagerstown the other day. Have you ever stayed there? We wanted to park and walk to the falls but they didn't have room for us to park

This was something Hubby & I thought about as well when we were shopping for our 5th wheel....
We also love the State Parks....and sometimes it can be really hard to get into a site when you have a long camper...
Having a 5th wheel makes it some what easier...but if you are really long it can still be a problem...

Yes, we've camped there before so we parked at our site - the waterfall was a nice little hike - we took the trail from the campground that I would not recommend to do with small children. I can't really say I know of any place at the state park where you could have just parked a trailer to be out of the way other than the campsites. We also visited the Cactotin Iron Furnace on the other side of the road - there was a large gravel shoulder that we parked on there - you can walk over the highway back to the state park but that's quite far from the falls.

I want to go back there - thinking maybe next Columbus Day for the Apple Harvest Festival in Gettysburg - staying at Gettysburg Campground this year with some friends but we weren't really impressed with that place when we went last year for July 4th.

Problem with a motorhome is that if you happen to have kids, they have nowhere to sleep.
TTs and fivers have that back bedroom to hide the kids in.

I noticed in the pictures however, that this one has the dinette booth instead of the table chair setup you have, it might take some doing to move the couch to a better location like you did.

by the way, that weekend in Bush Gardens,
The weekend you are going (the one before the weekend I mentioned for us) is a no go for us due to our second (adopted) daughters birthday party that the skillet child refuses to miss.
so Im stuck on the weekend after you.

Still have not heard back from the seller of the other one, but it hasnt even been 24 hours yet, so who knows.
anyway, this is the inside.
back bunk area, the very bottom slids out as a trundle bed so its sorta three bunks.

and the Bathroom, Sink, shower/tub toilet, the door goes outside so if you are doing the party thing outside, people can use the facilities without having to walk dirt all through the unit.

Take the time to check out the interior of the Rockwoods too.
basically the same cabinets and appliances but like on Clevalleys his Back room slide is on the front of his camper while the couch/table slide open on the opposite side, it gives the impression of a very open living space.
