Did you forget to put in your picks?

Nope, boss is out with an infection... he cut his kneecap with a chain saw (grazed it, broke skin, 12 stiches) 3 weeks ago... stitches out last week and it was feeling good. Yesterday he could hardly walk, went to the ER and it was swelled up pretty bad, oozing and red streaks up he leg... he will not be in for the rest of the week, so I am a bit busy to say the least.

Let's try these;

1 - Jeff Gordon
Jimmie Johnson
Tony Stewart
Carl Edwards
Kyle Busch

Gotta catch you 3 guys in front of me, it's going to be hard with just about the same picks, especially with Homedepot thinking like me.

Tony Stewart to win
Jimmy Johnson
Jeff Gordon
Denny Hamlin
Mark Martin was a toss up between him and crybaby Kyle

It could be worse, I ALMOST put down Edwards instead of Martin because I think he's gonna do well this week.

Edwards got me alot of points last year, but he hasnt done much this year so far. It will be interesting between the top 4 , there is one of us picking Johnson, one picking Gordon, and 2 of us picking Stewart to win. If any of those 3 drivers win, someone will be either pulling away or the standings will get even closer. Go Tony :yahoo:

I know, it is tough not to pick who we are picking. All we can do is mix up the leaders and hope whoever is above you in points picks wrong.

I almost picked Tony to win, but it is hard not to pick J Gordon at this track.

I have to agree. Montoya got screwed.

At least there's NHRA. Antron Brown became the 8th driver to complete a sweep of the Western Swing. How cool! 2 years ago he was racing PSM; now he's kicking arse in TF.

If you were a late July NASCAR race in Indiana you would be the Dickyard 400.

If Andy was a race car driver, he would be Dick Trickle!!

:buddies:

Antron Brown's on a roll this year man. If he don't win the championship, it's because the Countdown is a crock that screwed Tim "Giant Killer" Wilkerson last year.

That said, nothing can be more boring than today's race. If I were to rate that race on a scale of 1 to 10, it would be a 1.1 and my nap would be a 10:killingme

And to think, HD20 says it's the short tracks that are boring :killingme:killingme Let me tell ya what, the races this weekend at Potomac Speedway were 100 ti... no, a thousand times better than that ####. NASCAR doesn't belong at Indianapolis. I'd rather watch 10 races at California than that bull####. :killingme

They should rename the race the "Brickyawn 400" :killingme

Dick Trickle has won 2 ASA Championships (back when ASA was the biggest national late model series) and is believed to have won more than 1200 races in his career across the short tracks of America.

I ain't no Dick Trickle.
