Hubby found kittens in our parking lot this morning at work. He doesn't think they are ready to be away from the momma.. someone dumped them. He called animal control :smack: he thought they would help. Won't they kill them?

Can someone help?

LusbyMom, he did the right thing calling animal control. They are much better off euthanized vs. fending for themselves and most likely suffering while doing so. Don't be mad at him.

He actually loves the babies.

These guys are older..probably just need a little encouragement to eat. Ears up, eyes open and walking...at least from the info I got from Lusby mom.

Yep. If no rescue took them in, I'd much rather see them put to sleep. It's much more humane then leaving them on their own.

My cat is bored, she misses her friend from the old house, they played all the time and now she just sits on the back porch for an hour or so and can't find anyone to play with. I told my old neighbor that we were going to cat nap her kitty.

You have no idea how huge the kitten rescue/foster network is in SOMD.
We dont care who is working with what group...just the someone has room for a few more!
And there is always room for one more litter!!! Just a matter of finding it at a moments notice!

I still have one kitty here. He/she is a feisty one... all black.. doing well with the bottle and going to the bathroom by itself.

After further searching another one was found so we had a total of 3.

I have to say that I now understand why the rescues put prospective pet owners through so much. This one was suppose to have a home but the person changed their mind.

Sure..he's a sweetie. Too bad they got split up..but he should be fine. They're much younger that I thought from the initial description. I'm thinking two weeks..he weighs 5.5 ounces. He just ate and is laying with his stuffed dog and a warmed rice sock.

I wish now that they had stayed together. Hopefully the others do well too.. I did call the one who found them homes and let her know what you had said about feeding them and stuff and if their was any problems to get in touch with me... so she let her uncle know...

My little one is still :bawl:
