I've eaten here several times. Great food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Lunch is nice and quick. Give it a try.

I've eaten there too,, during the dinner hour. The food is great. A good selection of Irish food and other foods. The portions are good sized and you don't leave hungry. They have entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I was in yesterday and they had an "Irish Session" group of musicians playing all kinds of instruments. I guess that is going to happen once a month. The wait staff is very helpful and courteous. I'll be eating there on a regular basis. I love the "Bangers and Mash"!

*gag* I ate there about a week ago. My mother got corned beef and cabbage which was so tough that you had to chew the same piece for 20 minutes... i got fish and chips. the fish tasted like old oil... and my french fries were soggy. I will never go there again. :dead:

I've eaten at DBM several times and it's always been good. The club sandwich is excellent and easily a meal for two. Me, Jazz, Rose and Dye waited out that crazy storm on Saturday at DBM. :yay:

OH! And Catt, if you read this: Robin from River's Edge is working there now!

OK, I have to ask. What is the mission of this place. Is it a Pub first and foremost or a Restaurant first and foremost?

I'm just helpful that way.... :lmao:

It's 50/50. A lot of people go just to drink, but they have a dining area with "authentic" Irish food. It's more of a "pub" feel, but not quite.

it's very dark inside and you need time for your eyes to adjust in the bar area. My mussels were undercooked, at least some of them and my bread was not cooked in the middle. I had to remind the waitress that i ordered fries and they came out under done.
My wine was okay  and my company was better.

The bread sucked, that's for sure. :barf:

I've been twice and both meals have been good. I had the shrimp boxty the first time and other than the portion being a bit small (it would have been better with a veggie side dish), it was delicious.

The second time a group of us split the Fried Brie and it was very good. I had the Prawns Dublin Bay and it was very good. :yum:
