Gold Bond Medicated Powder. Or a cream with cortisone in it. Could be an allergic reaction or poison ivy.

a cool shower and a litttle bit of lotion usually dimishes it...for me anyway.
Rub butter all over it and stay outside for one hour.

Gold Bond...I had a blistery rash where my socks were sweaty from weedeating and mowing a couple of days ago. Gold Bond Powder took care of it in a couple of hours.

Are you sure it is a heat rash, could be sun poisoning(photodermititis). Gold balm, any anti-itch cream, stay indoors, also a wet towel seems to cool things.

I had to start using non-fragrance (sp?) body wash, and lotion, to get rid of the rash on my upper arms.

Is it blistering and oozing? I hate poison ivy, I could get it by just saying poison ivy when I was much younger.
Maybe it's chiggers, gross.
I always keep lavender and tea tree oils on hand, unless you have sensitive skin use those.
What about keratosis pilaris? I have a mild case of that but I exfoliate it and apply lavender oil and pure raw shea butter immediately after my shower/bath.
Either way, good luck with your rash.

Doing any better? I hope the lotion you're using is hypo-allegenic. You don't want to make it worse.

I get a lot of rashes because I am allergic to everything it seems. I switched to fragence free detergent and the rashes cut way back. The All Clear or something like that.

that is what i have been using for years now. I am allergic to alot of stuff too. the doctor put me on steriods which don't seem to be helping so I might have to go back again next week for her to look at the stuff again and see if she can figure it out the rashes are only on my upper arms also on my stomach a few other places the doctor ruled out poison ivy the last time i was in there. My mom also has the same rash that I have so it has to be somethign we came in contact with.

I never said you didn't. It seems like her rash and your rash are fighting each other.

She asks for advice, you give it to her and then she bites your head off. Some people don't appreciate a damn thing

I should have told her to use the mayo instead of the butter. Maybe she would have believed me.
