Feline surrogate needed for a litter of newborn kittens (they were born today, 8/15).
If you have a momma cat who still has kittens, or who just weaned hers and still has milk, please let me know.
Breed doesnt matter. Would prefer to find a cat who has already been tested for FIV/FeLv and is up to date on vaccines, but may consider cats without (I will have them tested).
Would prefer to keep momma at my home, but may allow kittens to leave if situation requires.
If you have a momma cat who may be a suitable surrogate, please PM me for more details.

Can you bottle them KMR?

I have some milk replacer on hand, but newborn kittens need to eat so frequently (every 1-2 hours) and there are so many of them, it wouldn't be possible unless I stayed home with them 24/7. Plus it's just not as good as "mothers milk".

Call the vet. See if someone on call can steer you in a good direction. Call all of them.

Kittens eat 6 times a day...every 4 hours...no less as they need time to digest the milk/KMR.
What happened to the momma?
Did they get any nursing time with her?

If they're newborn, they need to eat more often..

When with their momma, newborns eat more frequently than every 4 hours. Maybe "every 4 hours" is a minimum requirement for survival, but normally newborns eat every hour.
Yes they did get some nursing time with momma.

.
It's different when bottle feeding them. They don't eat every hour. Typically they would get a few mls every couple of hours until for the first week or so and gradually the amount is increased and the time between feedings is increased.
I've raised orphans for years and have a good success rate.
Where is the mom? Are you keeping them warm? Stimulating them so they can "potty?"

the kitten I got from catt that she had up for adoption through paws came out just fine and catt bottle fed her. She is hell on wheels gets into everything and anything that she can. She thinks dog food is the best food on earth but I try to tell her otherwise. Catt is very good with her animals and the babies she takes in. You should go meet her bisuit and abby (abby thinks shes princess and you can't tell her otherwise) buiscuit thinks hes a handsome thing and he is the same as abby you can't tell him otherwise either). Catt takes good care of her animals and they are her furkids. I have seen all of this with my own eyes that is how I know all of this.
