My son's skink is shedding and hasn't eaten anything since Thursday. Is this normal?

Most lizards do not eat when they are sheddding, and thus are also quite lethargic. That is normal.

Thanks :yay:
I thought so but wasn't 100% sure. We pulled him out of the sand, but he quickly buried himself right back.
How long does this shedding process last?

about a week, maybe less or maybe more, depends on the lizard.

I don't think he'd appreciate you talking about his shrinking "skink" to strangers on the internet...:eyebrow:

Maybe that is why he has been keeping his head in the sand?

Thank you! So maybe around mid-week he'll eat again.
