...is quite possibly the best cheese in the universe. The Maytag bleu was very tasty, but the brie beat it hands down. :yay:

I should have gotten some of that. :tantrum Although the blueberry Wensleydale I got is quite tasty so I don't feel so badly off. :yum:

Yeah, I was thinking about you when I was eating it - "Damn it, I wish Jazz would have gotten some of this cheese...."

BUT! Next weekend is the wine thing, so we can pack a picnic and I'll bring the rest of it (plus some of the others) for us to nosh on.

We stopped at Sur La Table (http://www.surlatable.com/home.do) up in the new Annapolis Town Center after we hit Whole Foods and had lunch at Gordon Biersch. :yum:

This is the one I got and it was only $12.00. :dye:

That's not cheese. It's annual maintenance grease for the washer/dryer.

Expensive grease then. But still not as bad as the ones in the "special case" going for as high as $30 a pound. :faint:

That's gorgeous.

Thanks - I couldn't resist it especially at that price. It's a fairly good size, too. The tag said it was made out of palm.

I cooked up the chicken cinnamon apple sausage tonight that I got from Whole Foods. It was interesting but surprisingly good. :yum:

I still want to taste that cheese just to find out what's so special that it's $30/lb.
