Got this guy fly fishing for pink salmon. Rod is rated for trout(5 Weight) but I managed to land this fish. Had 1 other silver hooked but it got off. Had another 30 pinks, all but 1 on the fly in a little more than 2 1/2 hours of fishing. I had a stretch of the river all to myself.

Resurrection Creek in Seward, Alaska. Not many silvers this year but a whole bunch of pink salmon to catch.

Who drives? I fly on my uncle's plane for free. It's pretty plush inside, check it out:

The 141's are gone nowWow, I didn't know. Replaced by the C-117 I'm sure. They were good ole birds in their day.

We have a winner!!!
Flew from McGuire in NJ to Seattle then from there to Elmendorf.
The quality of the box lunches have dropped off from what I remember from years ago. The sandwiches were crappy smucker's uncrustable peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. No more hard boiled eggs or fried chicken pieces like years ago.
