Gertie/Gertrude is ready for her new home. She is the kitty from the Help for a Stray thread. I have posted a few pictures of her. If anyone would like more information let me know. She is a very sweet kitty. Gertie is small she is about nine pounds, front declawed, spayed, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Currently she lives with two dogs, another cat, and various other small furry animals. She is a wonderful kitty that will make someone a great pet!!

She's such a pretty girl!!! Wish I could take her, but I'm maxed out. My girls would eat her alive. Especially since she's declawed. I'm sure someone will adopt her! Good on you for all you've done for her!!! :huggy:

WOW! She looks great! She looks like a whole different kitty! I wonder is WharfRat has seen this pic?
Do her and your hairless one get along now?

I sent a before and after pic to my sister along with the heart-wrenching story about this cat. My sister's cat died 2 weeks ago and she says she has plans to get another.

My sister said she will take Gertie if it can be done on a trial basis to make sure she does not have any behavioral issues or any issues with my sister's 2 small kids. My sister is not a stranger to cats and is aware of the commitment. She had her previous cat for 12 years and she's been a volunteer at a cat rescue place. She's just afraid of getting "psycho cat".

Unfortunately, my hairless bully doesn't like her. She could care less about him but she stresses him out too much. I would love to keep her but Ragnar was here first and he just doesn't really like other cats. Gertie is doing great though. I tried to get some better pictures but she just wouldn't hold still long enough for me to take them.
