Electronic Exegesis: Utilizing Bible Software

Electronic Exegesis, a special two-day presentation taught by leading Old Testament Professor Dr. Mark Futato, is coming quickly-and you are invited. Pastors wanting to understand Old Testament exegesis in order to teach the Bible with greater depth and accuracy and students who plan to take an exegetical course in the coming academic year are encouraged to attend. No matter what your focus, you will learn how to harness the language functionality of Logos Bible Software to enrich your study of the Bible!
This 2-day Electronic Exegesis course is open to anyone.
About the Course:
Dr. Mark Futato, professor of Old Testament and academic dean at RTS, Orlando, will lead a 2-day presentation-perfect for, but not limited to, students and pastors-introducing attendees to the original language resources of electronic Bible software. The focus will be instruction on how to exegete Old Testament passages using the powerful languages tools of Logos Bible Software in preparation for sermons. Dr. Futato will illustrate the capabilities of Zotero, a bibliographical management system, and Logos Bible software.

Cost: The audit fee is $50

About the Instructor:
Dr. Futato received his Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America. He has published five books, served on the translation team for the Book of Psalms in The New Living Translation, contributed study notes for The Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible, and contributed to The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis.
