I would think you block it by calling the carrier, AT&T, Verizon, etc,.....and asking them to block it ...

verizon told me there is no way to block a number. there best advice was to quit answering the call and eventually the person will get the hint or get a new phone number and that way they can't call you anymore

That's funny, I just had Verizon block a number for me the other day. It only lasts for 2 months but it's better than nothing.

Give the number you want to block a custom ringtone (silent).

Verizon lied. I know for a fact that they can block a number. They're currently blocking a number for me.

Call at the end of the 2 months and they'll block it again.

Crackberry Storm?

I actually called Verizon Wireless and they blocked an annoying call for me.

1. Go into your Verizon Wireless Account on-line. "My Verizon" (Please make sure you have an account all ready or you just created an account)

Step 2 Then Go To "My Services"

Step 3 Choose the SPAM Control: There you can add up to 5 phone numbers that you do not want to contact you. This also prevents these #s from text messaging you.

*Press APPLY then you are done. They block these #s for 3 months at a time. So you will have to repeat the steps in 3 months.

*To Unblock these #s, do the same exact steps as above, except just delete the number you want to unblock. Press "APPLY" and the number is unblocked.

Yeah that's not an option. They called and text me 23 plus times yesterday. I finally turned it off and nothing today.

I found out the hard way, they will just start calling you from a different number. I have blocked this particular person 3 times, guess what, they called from a totally different number again today. To me this is harassment.

Don't answer the phone if you don't know the caller ID. Let it go to VM. Chances are they won't leave a message.

I have and they sit there on my VM and don't make a sound. Makes me mad cause it burns up my minutes.

Sounds like it could be considered harassment. File a police report.

Checking VM shouldn't use minutes. Check your plan.

They don't have a plan. It's pay as you go.

Mine however is a plan so it doesn't matter, but no calls or text today. :yahoo:

I told Socki to cool it or I was calling her first beebee's Daddy on her.

j/k Socki I won't call! :smoochy:
