I've got a cigarette burn in the back seat of my 2005 Nissan Sentra [sage interior].
Does anyone have an upholstry guy? I can't afford alot but I do need to get it fixed or replace the whole seat [with a used one... if I can find one]

Cloth not leather, yes? They make some kind of repair kit. I'm sure the results aren't perfect but probably a whole hell of a lot cheaper than getting it professionally done.

with a cloth car seat the would just replace the bad panel in the seat, you would never know it was ever done when the are finished.

I'm sure but I was thinking cost/convenience.
Call a junk yard, you should be able to find a seat cushion that matches.

It was a few years back but I think they charged something like 80 bucks to replace a panel in my boats bench seat.
But you are right about the convenience, thats kinda far away to drop the car for a day while they work on it.

Thanks for all the replies!
I tried the junk yard... they don't have one to match...
I thought about the kit... I even went online and looked at the "how to" sites.
I was hoping someone down here in Southern Calvert or St. Mary's might have a "guy" that does upholstry repairs.
I've heard of the Edgewater guy.... can't make myself go that far yet....
Thanks...

My cigarette burn in my front passenger seat came from some dickweed that threw his lit butt out his window and into mine on rt 50.
I saw him flip it, but didnt see it come in. realized what was going on when I smelled the burning.

That's about what happened to me... I didn't see them flick it... but I know I didn't do it.... it got me in the back seat.... I'm happy I found it.... I was getting ready to get out of the car when I did.... if I had gone into the grocery store I might have lost the car!
Accidents happen... the guy/gal that got me didn't do it on purpose.... but he/she also didn't come forward either....
I priced a replacement seat at the Nissan dealer.... $900!

There are professional mobile guys that can repair just the burn for a lot less than replacing the whole panel. I don't know of any off the top of my head but try paintbull.com and find a local dealer or dingking.com and try the same thing.
