I have comcast cable on 3 tv's with 1 HD box and 2 regular digital cable. On my HD box while watching an HD channel, the picture is fine. While viewing the non-HD channels and on the other 2 boxes, the picture is zoomed. It's like I'm getting a widescreen signal but on a 4:3 screen. I tried going through the TV set-up on the individual TV's to adjust the picture but I could not figure it out. Anyone out there with similar issues or solutions?
Thanks,
Paul

Had the same issue with the widescreen/zoom type view. Metrocast said try unplugging the tv and see if it resets. It did. No problems since.

If that doesnt work, let us know, specifically, the make and model of cable box. Some of them, the Motorolas specifically, have their own setup menus most folks dont know about.

My TV remote has a "aspect" button that shrinks or expands non hd channels, seems like your's is set to zoom in all the way. Also look for "zoom" on your cable and tv remotes.

I have Motorola boxes with the comcast remote. There was no aspect button on it. Disconnecting power had no effect.

Turn off the cable box, then press the menu button. Make sure all the settings are right on that menu. If you have a flat screen TV make sure its set to 16:9. There is a couple more things on there but I'm out of the country right now so that's all I could remember off the top of my head.
