Can a person be banned from specific topic headings?
example.
Could you ban me from consumer&financial affairs but leave everything else?
and if that were to happen, would the Consumer & financial Affairs disappear from my list of headings.

Reason I ask is that there are a few that I dont venture into, and if I get rid of them from view it would only leave the topics I am interested in giving my misguided comments in.

and, if it would work that way, how much of a problem would it be for me to give a list and have myself banned from those unused topics.

Sure. But choose wisely - once I ban you from those forums, I'm not going to dig through it all and let you back in later. :nono:

Ladies room,, because I'm not one
Health and Nutrition,
Consumer and Financial
Religion,, Gets too volatile
computers tech and internet
all of the columnists archives

and, share a quote

I think it would reduce page size enough to be more convenient to me.

That's an awful lot. Where you gonna post for computer help if your computer starts acting funny or you can't hear audio?

And the holidays are coming up. Doesn't Health and Nutrition include food?

Now I want chocolate... :ohwell:

Well lets see.

I am a network administrator by trade. I hope I can figure out why my system is not working as expected.

holiday,, food?
Im not much of a holiday person, this is why I planned my Puerto Rico trip to be in the air on ThanksGiving. that way I dont have to actually visit anyones house and pretend to be overly excited with the prospect of the over done dinner.
As far as healthy food? if its good for you, it tastes like crap. Thus my refusal to follow the cardiologists list of acceptable foods.. as a matter of fact, last time I saw her I told her to go ahead and live on the diet she suggested, I havent been back since. Chicken and fish and veggies,,, YUK.

Any chance the site could be set up to click on those forums that you want to see? Then if you decide you want to view something at a later date you previously didn't you can just click a box and be able to view it? Then you wouldn't have to worry about trying to answer people's demands, it would be up to them.

And... any chance you could click on members whose responses you don't want to view? As you know, There are some people on here who just pop into a conversation totally off topic and just say something bizzare or offensive, or rude.

Maybe you should try a kinder, more gentler forum :huggy:
