My cat is shedding like a beast. I think she alone sheds more than all of the other animals in the house combined. I know there's nothing I can do about it but I'm hoping someone has a miracle cure for me!

Does she eat wet food? I've heard it keeps the shedding down a bit - worked for my mom's cat. I wouldn't know personally though, cause my little demon kitty won't touch the stuff.

No but maybe I'll try giving her some.

Its gross. Daily I pull off enough hair to make another cat. You'd think she'd be bald by the amount of hair that comes off of her.
She drools too. Her and boy kitty both. Nothing wrong with either of them they just drool a ton when they're being loved on and happy. And to think, I thought dog drool was bad. :barf:

My mom's old cat ate nothing but wet food. She shed A LOT. Always. Maybe it's the type of coat/length of fur.

She's just a plain ol' DMH. I really have never seen such and I've had cats my whole life. My DLH hardly sheds and doesn't ever mat either. All the others shed a normal amount. I could understand pulling a lot of hair off if I didn't groom her often but this is daily. I'm doomed to suffer I know I was just hoping someone had some glimmer of hope for me.

A furminator might help keep the shedding down. It gets out the undercoat and all the lose hair. Might take a couple of days of grooming for there to be a big difference. Good Luck!!
