World Renowned Scotish Fiddler Alasdair Fraser will be performing at the Winter Celtic Concert (http://cssm.org/index/readnews/comments/20) in Leonardtown this Sunday, October 4, 7:30p at St. Mary's Ryken High School. BBC Radio Scotland called Alasdair "One of Scotland's most valued tradition-bearers." Alasdair will be performing with cellist Natalie Haas.
The pair will also be conducting a workshop from 2-4p on Sunday for musicians who are interested in learning more about their style of music. While Alasdair said there is insufficient time to work with beginning musicians, all are welcome to observe. Experienced musicians should bring their instruments.
David had the pleasure of interviewing Alasdair. Download the PodCast (http://radiosomd.fm/podcasts/2009/09/2009-09-28-Interview-Alasdair-Fraser-128k.mp3).
