For all of you folks who haven't heard, winter time is coming. You need to stock up now, every where has pellets now but in a few weeks they will be as scarce as last year.......

I guess that's this weekend's project....I normally burn about 2 1/2 ton for the entire winter and get an additional in at the end of winter for the next year. Hopefully we won't have a hard time getting them this year, but I'll bet they jacked the price up.

No doubt. I'll let you know this weekend.....
$150/ton when I first got the stove about 15 years ago. Paid $300 2 months ago.

thats about the going rate, but some places are already gouging. I know sneads is charging 7 or 7.50 a bag and have been all summer.
Its a shame because i usually find ACE to be very competitive on most prices

The pellets sold at Southern States are made by Hamer, they sell for $280/ton

Hubby ordered two ton yesterday, to be delivered tomorrow, from WFP (Wood Floors Plus) out of Glen Burnie. $250.00 +$25.00 per ton delivery. We shall see. They are suppose to be taking orders today until noon for this area. They are to call us after that to let us know about the time of delivery on Wednesday.
