Here are some shots that I took with a new Panasonic Lumix FZ35. All the photos were taken within about 3 blocks of my house. The yellow flowers were taken in a construction retention pond.

Looks like the govt does not like Photobucket. All I get when I try to view at work is the annoying little boxes with the red x and when I select the url I get the access denied. Oh well, this was just my first attempt. Guess I'll have to find a govt approved hosting site.

Always amazing what you can find to take pictures of so close to home and who would ever think a sediment retention pond woud turn in to beautiful wetlands. It actually looks like a yellow carpet with these flowers mixed in with cattails.
