I haven't looked at all of the threads, but I he seems to have been absent. If you're out there, SM, let us know all is well and that you are just not "into" any of the current threads.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen IT around either. What's up with that?

I think we're all bored with the whole creationism/evolution/inteligent design focus of the recent threads. 4.3 million posts, but not one opinion changed.

Glad someone misses me...
Actually, I haven't seen but 1 or 2 threads, recently, that I felt like posting in but I've still been reading them.
I think we've pretty well covered the majority of religious topics on here.
I usually get on here during the day but recently it's been only late at night;
I just renewed my SoMd membership for another year so I'll be lurking. :creepy:
Thanks for thinking about me Libby and I hope you're doing well also :flowers:

Thanks, Nucklesack,
I never thought to check his info. Glad, too, IT that you are, indeed, well. :huggy:

Yeah, but there are those people that you feel like you've known for years. Im Me is one of them.

I sure don't claim longevity on the forum, but I do predate the "All Evolution, All The Time" phase of the board (or should I say bored):coffee:

I didn't know it was a phase, but I think I'm with you on that.

Well.. come now.... It's not ALL evolution ALL the time.
We sometimes discuss whether Thomas Jefferson was a Christian or not.

This is because if Thomas Jefferson was a Christian, or if we can disprove evolution, it will be proof positive that God exists.

And if Thomas Jefferson was not a Christian, or if we can prove evolution, it will be proof positive that there is no God.

QED.

We're just solving problems, like any good think-tank should.

Guilty as charged for joining that thread, which was admittedly out of place on the Religion forum...I enjoyed it though and learned a lot.

HOWEVER, That thread went 5 days from bump to end. (where is Beherenow?...Goneforgood?) and we even summed up the points of agreement and continued disagreement.

We have been stuck in this Evolution miasma since at least 7/31, with each person still making the same points over and over and over....:starcat:(you get the picture)

That's not the first thread on the subject.

Yeah, I get the picture... and we've been stuck on that topic since Darwin came up with it. Evolution ranks right up there with conception being the start of life for discussion topics.

One bummer though: There aren't enough "If God is omnipotent can he create a rock so heavy he can't lift it" threads.

I guess that proves I'm a baby on the forums...(Nice to be new somewhere). I may join Beherenow in oblivion if we continue to circle around on some of these topics...........:ADHDattack:

I still go by: God is not logic and logic is not God...You can't use one to prove the other.

How am I feeling? Fat, like all pregnant women. I'm running three miles a day, and surviving on rice cakes and broccoli soup, but it seems that my midrift is determined to grow. I suppose if I can keep my thighs and backside from growing along with it, I'll be happy.

You are a better woman than me...I'm considering giving in to the middle aged spread (Though not yet..not yet)

It's been a while since we've posted together...So, I did remember you were pregnant correctly..How far a long are you now?

I'm almost 10 weeks. This is my eighth child, so the showing starts a lot sooner than on #1.
I'm in my 40's too, and I'm finding that it is sssoooo much harder to keep in shape than ever. I used to be able to just monitor what I ate, but now keeping a size 8 demands exercise and diet.
On the happy note, I had my she's-over-40 sonogram yesterday and I got to see baby's arm wiggling around. I'm thinking he/she was saying hello to me.

Losing weight sure does get harder...I used to be able to sub out my dessert snack for something else and I'd lose pretty quick..Now I have to actually stop snacking. Keep up the good work and keep me informed.
