I remember this recipe, making this with my sister 13 years ago.
I rather take sweet almond oil or extra virgin coconut oil, add my own personal blend of essential oils and use that right out of my shower as it is absorbed right into the skin. That way I have both a nice scent as well as a moisturizer.

Not the crap I bought - it was pretty cheap.
The liquor store guy just kind of looked at me, because I always buy beer and never any spirits. When I told him I was making perfume, he laughed and said to bring it in when it was done because he thought that was pretty cool.

I've got a bunch of Dead Sea stuff straight from the middle east. Hubby thought it would be a nice gift. Unfortunately, I'm very sensitive to it and it makes my skin BURN!! :ohwell:

At vitaminshoppe.com

Right now it's in a Ziploc container. I'm going to try and find a perfume bottle with an atomizer in my travels this week.
It smells good - I used vanilla, basil and lavender essential oils - but it doesn't have much staying power. So I added some sweet almond oil to see if I couldn't give that a boost. Not sure if I'm doing it right, but it's so cheap to make that I can afford to experiment.
