A little nighttime fishing for schoolie stripers around dock pilings produces a couple of nice fish with a lot of fight under tough conditions.

Down around Solomon's around 6PM, lots of schooling baitfish and some small blues and stripers. Hope tonight it's a little calmer.

Not if the winds are anything like the winds right now. Pretty much blowing constantly right now.

I was fishing a local pond last night and that wind was brutal. You just have to adjust your technique to allow the wind to help you instead of fighting against it. I know that sometimes that is not possible...even in that wind (and granted it was small water) I was able to catch about 20 bass in about 1.5 hours. I love fall fishing...
