YouTube - Alice Cooper: His conversion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiH0P4vNhq8)

Shock Rocker Alice Cooper Father was a minister as well as his grandfather and he grew up in the church but didn’t get born again till after coming out of rehab. His wife is a PK as well which he met when he hired here as a backup singer/dancer. Cooper says he’s a literalist he believes the Bible literally<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The question is If Cooper is truly born again, what’s he doing? Although his latest album is about a serial killer that comes to Christ and he's had a few others with Christian themes he's still doing the hanging on stage and the Macabre Theater.

His Rock and Roll show is still very dark. Should Alice give it up and leave the world behind? He's a big Fan of RC Sproul and regularly attends his conferences and Charles Stanley. Can Alice truly be born again and still be so much in the world and its music?

Hard to say Marie. Sounds like Mel Gibson & Glen Campbell's story. Both found Christ and both have had troubles.
Cooper said @ 2:30 in the video, TBS hates him but they haven't listened to his songs. They sing about following the good and avoiding the devil.
I've never cared for his music or his weirdness but he said he's not ashamed of his faith, some TV evangelists are satans friends (he made a great point there) and he has given millions to help the kids, so it sounds good and I'm always glad to hear of anyone famous coming to Christ. And he likes Charles Stanley so at least he's hearing the truth...

Interesting how he tells it.. "My dad was a Pastor"

From what I understand he was born a Mormon, his dad was/ is a Bishop in the Mormon church..
