Has anyone used this orthodontist or have any information? I have to find one on my insurance and he is the only one anywhere near me. Thanks!

We use him. He isn't too bad, a few problems, but nothing that would recommend you driving to another county to another ortho. I think his office in California is only open on Thursday so if you have an emergency, you will be driving to Waldorf to get it taken care of... say for instance a wire breaks. My #1, who has the braces, is the biggest baby when it comes to any slight discomfort at all, and they get him in rather quickly.

Thanks for your input! Hopefully he has a nice, calming demeanor because my DD has no pain tolerance. I will arrange a consult so we can meet him.

He is very nice... In fact, he is a Star Trek fan...

Now, ahhh pain? I think that is par for the course with braces. Not so bad at first but increases when they tighten them.

BTW, everyone in the office is very pleasant to deal with...
