Can anyone identify the plant in the attached photo? It is really big and really beautiful. Some of the huge leaves are a deep burgandy-like color. I have only seen it in two yards. One fellow told me you can only get it overseas (can't remember where). I would really like to get some.

You're a genius. No more mystery. I looked it up and unfortunately it's an annual so it will have to wait. Maybe we'll start a castor oil farm. Thanks

Yep, I was going to say caster bean. They are always coming up in one of my manure piles and they say they are supposed to keep moles away. I have moles or voles everywhere:(

Don't eat the beans (if any form) and don't let any pets eat them. Poisonous.
