To answer the original question...if you're a woman, there are a TON of imported men on the base, so there are plenty of pickins that aren't smibs. If you're a guy, even the smibs are mostly taken so you're basically out of luck. The male/female ratio around here is absurd.

Not really sure what area you're in. Down in St. Mary's and Calvert (even a little in Charles) there are a ton of "imports" because of Pax River. Andrews probably has the same thing further north, but the area is bigger so it's not as noticeable I'm sure. Up there, it's more diverse since you have DC commuters.
